Jon Burke is Heelstone Renewable Energy’s SVP of Development, heading up our Development department, and bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in energy and defense.
He most recently served as the President and GM of a North Carolina-based energy group where he led the US team in its full suite of core capabilities. Prior to that, his expansive leadership experience included leading regional development and wind and solar projects across the United States.
Throughout his career, Jon has monetized strategic opportunities in complex environments with the ability to turn value propositions into successful business projects through development.
Jon holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategy from Rice Business and a Master’s in Engineering Management and Project Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Jon resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his family, but is weekly in the office with his Development team in Durham, NC.
