Daryl Hart is the Chief Development Officer of Heelstone and was a Co-Founder and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Valor Infrastructure Partners. Prior to VIP, Daryl served as Vice President of Utility Scale Development at Borrego Solar, Director of Development at NextEra Energy, and Director of Renewable Development at NextEra Energy Resources. Prior to entering the private sector, Daryl served as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force from 1997-2007.
Daryl graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Electrical Engineering and holds an MBA from Auburn University (Montgomery) and a Master of Finance from Penn State University. Daryl also completed Executive Education in Leadership and Negotiations at Harvard University.
Daryl and his wife Kathy live in Durham, North Carolina with frequent visits back to family in Jupiter, Florida. They enjoy spending time with their grown daughters. When not visiting family, Daryl enjoys reading, hiking, cycling, and attending Miami Dolphins football games.
